With the help of Frontier Touring, Alders Finance organised for a new VW Beetle Cabriolet to be airbrushed with a B-52s theme to coincide with the B-52s' touring in Nov-Dec 2009 in Australia.
The car was airbrushed by Wayne Harrison of Advanced Airbrush and took six months to complete. Wayne is one of Australia's leading artists and enjoyed painting the Love Shack, Planet Claire and Rock Lobsters on the car.
The B-52s were then shown the car on 25th November 2009 and were blown away by Wayne's incredible work. They kindly consented to get in the car and for Alders Finance to take a couple of photos which we can proudly display here. They also signed the car which is a world first for them and makes it completely unique.
